Peptopedia LLC sells chemical compounds supplied as laboratory reagents for in-vitro and pharmacological research. Because these are sensitive research materials, refunds are limited to the circumstances described below.
Cancellations
If your order has not yet been fulfilled, email hello@peptopedia.us with your order number and we will make reasonable efforts to cancel or modify it. A cancellation approved before a shipping label has been created receives a full refund, including any shipping charges paid.
Once a shipping label has been created, the order cannot be cancelled, modified, or refunded except as provided under Limited Exceptions below.
No Returns or Exchanges
We do not accept routine returns or exchanges on orders that have shipped.
Once a research product leaves our control, we cannot verify its chain of custody, storage conditions, or handling. Returned product is therefore not restocked and never resold to another customer.
Limited Exceptions
At our discretion, we may provide a replacement, store credit, or refund where an order is affected by one of the situations below. Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of the carrier’s recorded delivery time.

For damage claims, photographs are required before a replacement or refund can be approved. Photograph the product and packaging as soon as possible after delivery and, where practical, before unpacking. We may request additional information reasonably necessary to evaluate a claim.
Claims submitted more than 48 hours after the recorded delivery time may not be honored. Original shipping charges are not refundable on approved claims, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Card refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your financial institution. We review each claim individually and will tell you the outcome by email.
Shipping Problems
We ship to the address provided at checkout, and providing a complete and accurate address is your responsibility.
If tracking shows a package as delivered and you cannot locate it, check your mailroom, mailbox, neighbors, and alternate entrances, and allow up to 24 hours—carriers occasionally mark a package as delivered before it physically arrives. If it still cannot be located, contact the carrier using your tracking number, and we will provide the shipment information needed to support the carrier’s investigation.
Where carrier tracking confirms delivery to the address provided at checkout, Peptopedia considers the shipment delivered. Peptopedia does not offer shipment protection or shipping insurance. As stated in Section 9 of our Terms of Service, risk of loss passes to you when the carrier accepts the package.
What Is Not Refundable
- Research or experimental results. Outcomes depend on experimental design, preparation, handling, storage, equipment, and methodology that we neither control, observe, nor advise on.
- Product stored, handled, altered, prepared, or reconstituted after delivery. We supply the material as described on its Certificate of Analysis, and our responsibility is limited to the material as delivered.
- A change of mind after a shipping label has been created.
- Orders refused at delivery, or returned to us as undeliverable because of an incorrect or incomplete address.
- Original shipping charges on approved refunds, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Nothing in this policy is intended to waive any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable law.
Scope of Our Responsibility
Our responsibility is limited to supplying the material as described on its Certificate of Analysis. We do not provide instructions or guidance for preparing, measuring, applying, or administering any product, and no claim under this policy will be evaluated on the basis of how a product performed after it was prepared or used.
Before You Dispute a Charge
If something is wrong with your order, contact us first at hello@peptopedia.us. We resolve legitimate problems, and we resolve them faster than a payment provider will.
If a payment dispute or chargeback is initiated without first giving us a reasonable opportunity to address the issue, we will provide the payment processor with the relevant order, delivery, and communication records, and we may take the additional actions described in Section 11 of our Terms of Service.
